Important /proc Security Files

• /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

  • Equivalent to net.ipv4.ip_forward sysctl parameter
  • Takes value of 1 or 0 to toggle router on or off
  • Should be set to off until all security functionality is loaded
