Delete Temporary Files:
This check box is normally checked. The static configuration and the dynamic change files are normally deleted after a successful PEP update. The dynamic files are not normally generated if a PEP is being initialized. Unchecking this box has two effects. The files are not deleted after a successful PEP update and the dynamic files are generated even if the PEP is being initialized. This feature is useful when the PEPs are not being automatically updated and one wishes to capture the configuration and change files for manual application.
